My name is Nastya, and I am the self-taught jewelry maker behind this small, handmade jewelry business based in Czechia. My journey into jewelry making began in 2023 when I discovered the vast variety of Bohemian glass beads made here, in Czechia, and they have become the cornerstone of my creations.

- minimizing material usage: all Himawari jewelry is made to order to avoid overproduction and waste
- locally sourced supplies: around 95% of the materials are sourced from Czechia or other EU countries, supporting local businesses and reducing the environmental impact
- high-quality components: as of 2025, Himawari jewelry is made exclusively with tarnish-resistant and waterproof stainless steel that ensures long-lasting wear
- vegan materials: Himawari jewelry does not include real pearls, bee wax, animal parts, etc. Instead, I use Czech glass imitation pearls that maintain the look of the real thing while aligning with my ethical values
- eco-friendly packaging: I use pirmarily paper and make sure everything is easy to separate and recycle. Right now, some designs come in organza bags instead of boxes, but I’m working toward switching to 100% paper packaging. I also reuse packing materials received when ordering supplies (like bubble wrap that would otherwise go to waste!)
