Since 2025, Himawari jewelry is made only with 316 or 316L stainless steel, which is water-, tarnish-resistant, and made to last. I used to offer a silver alloy option, but I’ve phased it out to fully focus on creating durable, high-quality designs you can wear for years.

All earring hooks are made with 316L stainless steel. 316L contains molybdenum which prevents the penetration of nickel to the surface. This makes 316L hypoallergenic.

My stainless steel supplier is a Czech manufacturer J+J Style.

I primarily use high-quality Czech glass beads and handmade lampwork beads from other artists. Currently, 95% of the materials are supplied locally from Czechia or other EU countries.

My main bead suppliers are Rutkovsky, Perlex, Jablonex, Pegaso, Preciosa, PAS Jablonec, Petrovna Lampworks.

I also use only vegan materials, which means the jewelry does not include real pearls, bee wax, animal parts, etc.
